Single wire shaft
The single wire shaftBefore the flexible shaft was known, there was the idea of pushing a round wire into a guide tube and driving it with a drill and a corresponding brush..
This led to an improvement over the hand-guided wire even in twisted form.
Even today, depending on the application, one reaches for this original form.
